I’m Alyssa—Certified and Licensed Midwife, founder of Health Compass Nutraceuticals, and advocate for holistic, evidence-informed care. My background blends midwifery with advanced training in lactation, clinical herbalism, functional nutrition, perinatal psychology, integrative hormone health, and genomics.
At Health Compass Nutraceuticals, we specialize in women’s health across the lifespan—fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause. But our commitment extends to the whole family, offering trusted support for men and children as well.
In addition to my midwifery practice, I’ve served as a Women’s Health Instructor and Clinical Preceptor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, training graduate Physician Assistant students in maternity care. I’ve also lectured widely on maternity care and lactation complications, for Osteopathic Medical School residents, midwives and physicians.
I’m the author of For Those That Walk Between Worlds: A Midwife’s Reflections on Birth, Belonging, and the Healing of Our Profession, available now on Amazon.
After years of struggling to find clean, effective, and affordable supplements for my clients and family, I launched my first line of organic herbal tinctures and teas in 2015. Today, our carefully crafted offerings have grown into a full line of over 40 high-quality, bioavailable products used by midwives, functional medicine providers, and families nationwide.
I’m a wife to an incredible husband, proud mother of four, and now a mother-in-law and joyful grandmother. These roles have shaped not just who I am, but why I do this work—and they remain at the heart of everything we create at Health Compass Nutraceuticals.
Thank you for being here. I’m honored to guide you on your path to whole-body wellness.
