Welcome! My name is Alyssa, and I am the founder of Health Compass Nutraceuticals. My husband and I are blessed with four amazing children, a wonderful son-in-law, and the most beautiful granddaughter and grandson.

I am a Certified Licensed Midwife, Doula, and Lactation Consultant with extensive training in clinical herbalism, functional nutrition, integrative hormone health, and genetics/genomics. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of caring for over 1000 families.

I also served as a Women’s Health instructor and Obstetrical clinical preceptor for the PA graduate program at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

In both my practice and personal life, I struggled to find affordable, pure supplements that effectively addressed common deficiencies, nutritional gaps, and health concerns. After many years of searching and trialing various brands without success, I decided to create my own solution, leading to the birth of Health Compass Nutraceuticals.

Each of our formulas is developed to help individuals and families achieve optimal health at every age and stage of life. While we have a strong focus on Women’s Health, we also offer many options for men and children.

Many of our products were developed in response to my own health struggles with endocrine and autoimmune disorders. Unfortunately, health issues like mine are all too common. Environmental and food toxins, mold exposure, negative epigenetic effects, and chronic infections such as Lyme disease and Epstein-Barr virus are rampant in industrialized nations. I hear hundreds of devastating health stories each year, particularly from women struggling with endocrine disorders, autoimmune diseases, poor gut health, reproductive hormone imbalances, infertility, miscarriage, pregnancy complications, and breastfeeding difficulties.

Thankfully, even the most severe and lifelong health concerns can be supported and alleviated with proper nutrition and supplementation.

When I first started developing supplements, I launched with small-batch organic herbal tinctures and teas. Today, we offer a complete line of well-researched, high-quality, clean, high-bioavailability supplements.

Each purchase supports the Ahava Care program in my Midwifery practice. Ahava Care provides free and low cost prenatal/postpartum care, education, vitamins and essential supplies to area homeless and extremely low income families.
